The Gist: March 2017

“The Gist” is adapted from the REALTORS® Association of Edmonton Monthly MLS® Report and Press Release. Every month I summarize and post “the gist” of the MLS® data for Edmonton and area real estate activity.

The average*** single family detached price in the service area of the Edmonton Multiple Listing Service® was up 3.04% to $439,139.
The average condominium price was up 3.86% to $242,632
The average duplex/ rowhouse price was up 0.41% to $348,806
The average days-on-market in March was 50-days for single-family, 67-days for condos, and 62-days for duplexes..
There were 1,474 reported residential sales and 6,806 residential units for sale at month end.
